Job: Sales Manager

ZooQ is seeking an ambitious sales manager with the ability to launch ZooQ by establishing a fit between customer needs and ZooQ's capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers to discover needs and key selling points and feed customer requirements to the engineering team.
  • Promote ZooQ as a free service through public speaking.
  • Close first enterprise customer sales.
  • Identify and close partnership opportunities.
  • Design sales and partner strategy.
  • Brainstorm with the executive team to develop strategies to solve problems and pursue opportunities.
  • Manage time effectively with minimal supervision to meet challenges and pursue opportunities.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in business or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in direct sales and communications.
  • In-depth experience launching new web companies.
  • Previous early stage startup experience highly desired.
